Stephen Garcia Named to Los Angeles Times’ Southern California’s Leading Lawyers 2023 List
Senior Partner Stephen M. Garcia was selected for inclusion in Los Angeles Times’ Southern California’s Leading Lawyers 2023 list, recognized for his impactful work in elder abuse law. Garcia’s highlighted successes include securing a $5 million verdict for a 92-year-old dependent adult woman who suffered elder abuse and neglect, and obtaining a $38.6 million settlement against an acute care hospital, which is considered to be the largest Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act settlement in California history.
Less than four percent of attorneys are recognized on the Los Angeles Times’ Southern California’s Leading Lawyers list, created through nominations and independent journalistic research. The list selects top lawyers using criteria such as average success rate, settlements and verdicts won in the last two years, leadership positions within the firm and their community and board affiliations and recognitions.
