Jordan M. Jeansonne is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience both statewide and nationally in the areas of personal injury, catastrophic trucking and automobile accidents, premises liability, and first- and third-party property insurance claims.
Before joining Garcia & Artigliere New Orleans, Jordan defended insurance clients in litigation involving catastrophic trucking accidents, wrongful death, personal injury, and insurance coverage and bad faith. He also previously represented insurers in complex civil litigation, including the Louisiana Road Home Litigation after Hurricane Katrina, and served as first chair trial counsel for NFIP insurers in property damage actions arising from Superstorm Sandy. With that prior experience defending insurance companies in high-stakes litigation, Jordan understands the strategies and tactics these companies will use to fight your claim. Jordan is licensed and admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also has practiced pro hac vice in multiple other jurisdictions across the nation, including the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of New York, District of New Jersey and Southern District of Texas.
Community
Active in the local community, Jordan has served on the Louisiana Forum for Equality Foundation board, devotes time to The Pro Bono Project, is a member of several legal associations, and was selected to the Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars List for 2019 and 2020.
