Attorneys Stephen M. Garcia and William Artigliere Selected as 2020 Super Lawyers
We are proud to announce that our firm partners, Attorney Stephen M. Garcia and Attorney William Artigliere, were chosen for the 2020 Super Lawyers awards!
Super Lawyers is a legal recognition organization that honors the top attorneys in the United States. To be considered for the awards, lawyers can be nominated by their peers, identified by a managing partner or third party, or found through Super Lawyers research. Super Lawyers analyzes award nominees in areas such as their past verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, bar and professional activity, scholarly lectures and writings, and more. Candidates are then evaluated by other attorneys before Super Lawyers makes their final decision on award winners, an honor bestowed on only 5% of attorneys.
The Super Lawyers awards are issued for separate geographic locations and areas of practice. Attorneys Garcia and Artigliere were honored as top elder law attorneys in Long Beach, CA.
Attorney Stephen M. Garcia is a senior partner of Garcia & Artigliere. He has been on the Super Lawyers list every year since 2008, as well as in 2006. In addition to his multiple Super Lawyers honors, Attorney Garcia has been recognized as one the top 30 plaintiff lawyers in California by the Daily Journal, was awarded as a California Lawyer of the Year (CLAY) by California Lawyer Magazine, is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was named as one of LawDragon Magazine’s “500 Leading Lawyers in America.”
Attorney William Artigliere is a Garcia & Artigliere partner who has been recognized by Super Lawyers every year since 2015, in addition to a Rising Stars designation in 2013. The Rising Stars awards are a subset of Super Lawyers that honor attorneys who are aged 40 years or under or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Attorney Artigliere has dedicated his legal career to protecting the rights of elderly people. He has contributed to major policy-shifting cases during his time as an attorney, including a decision that changed California’s definition of “neglect.”
Congratulations to Attorney Garcia and Attorney Artigliere on their 2019 Super Lawyers recognitions! This year’s awards are yet another indication of the committed representation they provide to our clients.
